Hi.
My name is Monique & I would like to add a blog to this ShiftHappens video. I would like to comment because I am a Graduate student at Claremont Graduate University and we watched this video in class & I was very shocked to see all of the statistics about our country and others. It is amazing to think that we (The United States) needs more help then other countries. I always thought that we were the most developed and didn't need any help, on the contrary we need the most. I am glad to see that someone is trying to get the word out on all of these statistics that are getting in the way of children's learning. It is shocking yet oh so true that our students are going home to play video games, watch TV, and talk on the phone instead of doing their homework. I commend this video for trying to get the word out there & I will definitely be passing it on to co-workers, colleagues, family, and friends.
